Welcome to South Yorkshire Conservative Future

Welcome from the South Yorkshire CF team

Creating a conservative future!

Once again, welcome to the South Yorkshire CF website. South Yorkshire CF aims to bring all CF branches from universities and constituencies together so that we can hold functions and events as a whole region, aswell as within our own ever expanding branches. It is a great way to bring the entire South Yorkshire CF members together so that we can all work together to achieve great successes for the Conservative Party and to create a substantial grounding for the Conservative Party in the future.

A message from the Party Leader, The Rt. Hon. Iain Duncan Smith MP

House of Commons
London SW1A 0AA

Leader of the Opposition

I am delighted to have this opportunity to send a message to everyone who has been surfing the Internet and switched onto the new South Yorkshire Conservative Future Website, which has been launched to respond to the needs and interests of our supporters.

Day by day, the broken promises and failed policies of the Labour Government are coming home to roost.

Tony Blair has cut police numbers and crime is rising again; he has increased welfare bills and put up stealth taxes to pay for them; he has tied up businesses in red tape and damaged manufacturing; he has pushed the NHS into crisis and is trying to close the best schools in the country; he has set about breaking apart the United Kingdom, subverting our constitution, destroying our traditions, abolishing our currency and submerging us in a federal European Superstate. And he has done all this with the connivance and slavish support of the Liberal Democrats.

The Conservative Party has listened to the British people and offers them a common sense alternative to the defeatist politically correct nonsense of the left. We say you can beat crime, you can solve the asylum crisis, you can stop wasting millions on the Dome, you can give pensioners dignity and freedom, you can put patients and parents first, you can cut tax and cut social security, you can keep the pound and you can keep us an independant Britain in Europe not run by Europe.

We have the right policies, the right people and the right approach to achieve all these things. The Labour and Liberal parties increasingly speak for no one but themselves. The Conservative Party is now the only Party speaking up for the mainstream majority of the British people.

The Rt. Hon. Iain Duncan Smith MP

What is Conservative Future?

Conservative Future is a new organisation which has been set up for members under the age of 30 and demonstrates the Party's commitment to the involvement of young people. Our activity is mainly based in University and local constituency branches.

Conservative Future aims to provide an opportunity for more young people to join the party, and to maximise their involvement wherever possible. CF is about listening, providing a forum for young people's views and most of all making politics exciting, interesting and relevant to young people.

If you are under 30 and want to find out more about our organisation and what we get up to then please read through our other pages on our site

Our Website!

We are currently in the process of building our website so we apologise for the fact that the information published on this website may not be correct, but we will endeavour to sort out any problems in the very near future
